What is the maximum file size?

Files above 50 MB are rejected. Within the limit, time and memory use depend on page count, content complexity, browser, and device.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

This converter requires embedded text and its page positions. OCR PDF can return text or TXT from a scan, but it does not recover table geometry or create a new PDF for this converter. Review the OCR result and rebuild the rows and columns manually, or use suitable table-recognition software.
