Does cropping permanently remove content?
Cropping sets a crop box that hides content outside the margins. The hidden content is still in the file but not visible when viewing or printing.
What unit are the crop margins in?
Margins are in PDF points (1 point = 1/72 inch). For example, 72 points equals 1 inch or about 2.54 cm.
Can I crop different pages differently?
Currently the same crop margins are applied to all pages. For per-page cropping, process the document multiple times with different settings.
Will cropping change the page size?
Yes. The visible page dimensions will be reduced by the crop margins you set.
Can I remove the crop and restore the original?
The original file is not modified. To restore the original view, use the unmodified PDF file.
